FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

A

Arrival: Your room will be ready for occupancy at 2 p.m.

Allergies suffer: Kindly contact our housekeeping or reception.

Adapter: Various adapters are available at the reception. Of course, you will get a power strip in Your room.

Airport: Airport Frankfurt about 180 km, Airport Nuremberg  about 90 km

Breakfast: Breakfast is served in our “Hofstube” from 6:30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
If the weather allows, it will be served on our terrace from 9.00 a.m..

Baby crib: We prepare a baby cot in your room – free of charge.

Babysitter: To arrange a babysitter or nanny please contact our reception.

Banks: Our reception will explain the shortest way.

Bar: Our bar is daily opened from 11.00 a.m. until 11.00 p.m.

Bath robe: Please kindly ask our reception if you need a bath robe.

Bike rental: Bicycles for your excursions can be organized from the reception.

Car rental: Our reception would be pleased to make arrangements for a rental car.

City map: Please kindly ask our reception if you need a city map of Rothenburg.

Currency exchange: Please contact our reception for currency-exchange.

Credit card: The following cards are accepted by the hotel: American Express, Visa,
Diners Club, EC-Card, JCB, MasterCard

Conferences & Banqueting: Eight meeting rooms offer space for up to 150 guest.
Our conference-team will show you our conference rooms.

Complaint: We kindly request you to contact our management immediately if you have any problems
or if there is something that does not meet your satisfaction.

Cleaning: Please contact our reception or housekeeping for cleaning your laundry.

Departure: We kindly ask you to leave your room till 11 a.m. If you plan a late check-out, please let us know the day before.

Dinner: Our “a la Carte” will be served from 6.30 p.m. till 9.30 p.m. and the snack card from 11.00 am till 10.00 p.m.

Doctor: Please contact our reception if you need a doctor or dentist.

Emergency: In emergency case, please contact our reception, telephone 400.
You will find the emergency exit at the end of the floor. Please follow the emergency exit signs.

Excursion: Please contact the reception for details and reservations.

Extra bed: Our housekeeping team will bring you an extra bed in your room (with costs)

Dogs: Dogs are welcome in our hotel (with costs) except in our restaurants and in the breakfast room.

Do not disturb: Please let us know if you do not want disturb on your room.

Flowers: Flowers may be ordered at the reception or the housekeeper.

Flight information: Our reception will be pleased to assist you with all bookings, changes and confirmations.

Front Office: Our front office team will be available on reception, for 24 hours a day. Please dial the telephone number 400.

Garage: Our locked garage (on availability & with costs), is not far away from the hotel. Our porter will park your car.

Gift-Voucher: The perfect gift for your friends and relatives. Every package is available as a gift-voucher.
Please ask our reception for further details.

Golf: Rothenburg-Schoenbronn (18 holes) 10 km, Bad Windsheim (18 holes) 25 km
Colmberg (9 holes) 20 km

Hairdresser: Please contact our reception if you need a hairdresser.

Hotel Reservation: Please ask our reception. They will help you to make a reservation
in one of our five ARVENA HOTELS in Germany.

Hiking: Please ask for hiking tours at our reception desk.

Housekeeping: Can be reached through the reception. Please dial 400

Internet: The hotel provides free wireless internet, you can get the login password on the reception desk.
Additional we do have a business counter which is located in our lobby.

Ironing: Let us know if you would like to have ironed your clothes.
Our housekeeper brings you the laundry within on our back (with costs).
We also bring you an iron and iron board to your room.

Kitchen: Our restaurants are open from 7.00 am till 10.30 pm.

Key: Your key can be deposit on the reception.

Laundry: Your laundry can be brought to the reception desk from Monday to Friday.
The laundry bag and laundry list can be found in your wardrobe. Just give us the laundry in the morning
to to ensure getting it back in the afternoon.

Lost property: Please kindly inform our reception if you lost something or found something in the hotel.

Minibar: There is a minibar with beverages in every room, please use the small key on your room key

Messages: Can be collected at the reception or will be delivered to your room

Night Porter: If you need assistance during the night, please don’t hesitate to contact our night audit on the reception.

Newspaper: Newspapers and journals are available at the reception.

Pharmacy: A pharmacy is located on the right side of the hotel, near the market place.

Pillow & Blanket: Our housekeeping will be pleased to bring an extra or special pillow into your room.
An extra blanket is located in your wardrobe.

Post: You can buy stamps and postcards at the reception desk. A mailbox can be found in our lobby.

Porter: If you need assistance with your luggage, please don’t hesitate to contact our porter on the reception.

Railroadconnection: The reception would be pleased to provide information about the „Deutsche Bahn“.

Restaurant: Breakfast from 7.00 am till 10.30 am
Lunch from 12.00 am till 2.30 pm
Dinner from 6.30 pm till 9.30 pm
Small Dishes from 11.00 am till 10.00 pm
Mondays closed
A table can be reserved by the reception or service team.

Room Service: Room-service is available during service-time of our kitchen.
Drinks can be ordered all day and night

Safe: Please commit your valuables to our reception. They will keep it safety in our safe deposit box.

Sewing kit: You will find a sewing kit in your wardrobe.

Shopping-Facilities: Our reception will show you the best places for shopping.

Slipper: Please kindly ask our reception.

Souvenirs: You will find some souvenirs in our lobby as well as in some of Rothenburg´s souvenir-shops.

TV Set: A TV –Guide will be in your room.

Taxi: The reception will organize a taxi for you. It will be approximately 10 minutes for the car to be here.

Telephone: Every room is equipped with a direct-dial telephone.
Please dial “0” to get an outside line. For a room-to-room-call, just dial the room number.
For reception please call “401”.

Telefax: Your fascimiles will be sent by our reception (with costs).

Tobacco: A cigarette-machine is located in the basement of the main building.

Umbrellas: At our reception you will find umbrellas which may use.

Wake-Up Call: Please let the reception know, the time for your personal wake-up call.

Our televisions are provided with an alarm clock function. For the setup please press the “MENU” button
and navigate to the “TIME” item. Now you can setup your favoured “wake up time” to confirm the wake up time
please press the “OK”button
